I think I may have heard that it's somewhere past the Pimlico racetrack area? I'd think that's Baltimore county, but what would one call that area?

I wouldn't be surprised if the transition from 33rd-35th & Greenmount to the Guilford neighborhood is the starkest and most abrupt transition from poverty to extreme wealth in the entire country. When I get that Powerball ticket, its where I'm headed.

Absolutely, and this isn't the only bizarre transition. Transition from Homeland to anything York Road/Govans, Loyola area transition past York Road (don't know neighborhood).

Throughout the city as a whole (and the inner/oldest County neighborhoods) there are many pockets
of wealth... some pockets are bigger than others and some are the real deal old money.

Here is a link to some old atlas maps of the area that show some well known family names
on their land holdings before most of the "modern" development took place:

A more "recent" set:

LOL,

Did you mean to ask where is the poverty?

It's hard to define, because as some has said there is such a contrast. You go to one area and it's rich. You go across the street and it's poor.

But what's considered rich in baltimore is mediocre everywhere else!!!!

See the problem there is HV is the county. Unless you are trying to clump the county in with the city to increase the wealth?
