It's interesting to see on social media, the highly volatile expressions from both black and white counterparts about the Baltimore's civil flare up. People were getting all hot under their collar about what their so-called black and white friends are posting about "the rioters", calling them (e.g. savages, thugs, monkeys/apes, n*&@^rs, anarchist, this and that). I always say, it's times like these who REVEAL people's true feelings and emotions.

Example: "I had to unfriend so and so because I never knew she/he felt that way about Black people!" It's tons of stuff about this on social media.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

People need to learn to control their emotions and tempers no matter what their opinion might be. I disagree with half the nonsense my friends come up with, but I don't call them ignorant or anything else degrading because an intelligent conversation works both ways.

It is more than a bit ironic that a multi-arrested, frequently convicted bottom feeder like Freddy Gray has become the latest symbol of the Black Lives Matter campaign.

He matters to some because of the color of his skin, not his character, integrity, or soul.

Yeah, we have come full circle here in American where we are once again judging people by their skin color, not their character. What would Dr King say about that?

I agree santafe400, but that is easier said than done. People are crying and losing them minds because their so-called friends and close friends they've known for eternity all of a sudden reveal their true emotions. It's all over Facebook!

My inquiry is, "Well, if you call them your close friends, how you didn't know how they felt about this or that? Close friends should be able to discuss serious and sensitive issues no matter how disagreeable it can be. If they can't, how can you really call them your friend? LOL! But, to each it's own.

I have white friends and colleagues who are very intelligent and we don't agree on everything, but we can discuss things in an intelligent manner that doesn't leave us wondering.

"Bottom feeder"...you really meant to say N-word right?!! Don't codify your true feelings?!!

This issue is march larger than Freddie Gray and some burnt up and looted buildings. If you can't see the overall bigger picture and atmosphere behind what these social and civil flares entail, go back and read and study a few books.

We would know if they hadn't murdered him.

That's the problem right there. They see it and know it but don't want to admit it because it makes them uncomfortable.

And the fact remains, they murdered him.

It's sad that no one excerpts the truth. There were a bunch of white people protesting in Hampden last night. LOL What are they thinking? If any of them were in West Baltimore when the rioting began they would have gotten their heads caved in with a brick. Now, I see they had a block party yesterday and all I can do is scratch my head. What are they doing? Do any of these protesters even have jobs?
