Those houses were built in 1947. Not sure of the original price but my parents paid $11,000 in 1951. I also don't know the assessed value in '67 but the taxes were $1K.

3570 is valued at $112,900 for 1/1/16 and $102,167 for 7/1/16, per SDAT:

SDAT: Real Property Search
The public can look up the actual tax bill here: Real Property

Lots of people get Homestead credits, which can lower the tax bill a little or even a lot. Homestead credits are likely to be more substantial in areas with fast growing property values.

This is easy. The mortgage estimate is $3,000 a month, and in the trying-to-rise Baltimore, this isnt very affordable unless your a doctor or surgeon. Secondly, back in May 2015 when the lovely people of Ferguson and Baltimore decided they must rebel, people became more hesitant. Third, property tax in city life isnt cheap. And lastly, the schools are okay, but let me say that a 4 put of 10 is a stretch for these schools. I go to a 4 out of 10 and it is absolutely horrific. Try a county lifestyle. Good luck though, many houses are beautiful
