I'm not your average African American from Balwmer who thinks, people like you, can run some ole' crusty, ole' Bay covered bigoted-minded con game and Jedi Mind Tricks a lot of whites in Baltimore like to play on Blacks in Baltimore. I've been the spook who sat by the door working within many industries in Baltimore (and Maryland in general), so I know what is being said about Blacks, both local and statewide.
Spook? Did you really mean spook?

I guess I will take your word for it, my old friend . . .

Issues about Intelligence Quotient, Eugenics and other nefarious scientific racist illusions of heredity and superiority take a life of its own on these boards. You can talk, and try to convince these hardcore racists about how delusional and backwards their thinking is; their cognitive dissonance is well entrenched inside their beer-battered brains.

Why?

Because it is purely academic based.

IQ is an academic construct for academics originally.
The IQ test has its origins in the Eugenicist Movement
and Francis Galton, one of the first psychiatrist to develop
a standard intelligence test. It was Galton who created the
term eugenics. He believed that intelligence was based upon
heredity.

From the Urban Dictionary:

spook -- A word to discribe a black person. Normally used by older folks in their mid 70's.
(Very old man sitting on his pourch enjoying a nice glass of Lemonade.)"I sure hope them spooks walkin' by don't pluck a watermellon from my garden."

Hoist with your own petard, eh wot?

Have a good day!

Warped ideas of masculinity in Baltimore (and for most of American culture these days) is to sag your pants to say you're a real man that don't wash your ass. Lots of guys walk around sagging their pants to prove they are a real man (when the opposite of it should mean easy ACCESS for another guy to have it LOL). Translation here: if a guy is well groomed and not "scruffy" he may be called a *****. Regarding femininity; one is expected to act submissive so guys can treat her like a submissive *****. If she acts manly she gets looked down on like a Rachel Maddow.

So, if I see a transperson, someone who is obviously confused about their sexuality, isn't that warped in a sense?!

Actually, standardized IQ testing is the single biggest predictor of success in intellectual pursuits. It's not perfect by any means and psychometricians continue to labor to develop the ideal measuring stick.

Until then, psychologists continue to rely on IQ testing for placement purposes and govt. agencies do likewise when determining if an individual qualifies for cash benefits on the basis of intellectual disability or what we used to call "mental retardation."

The excerpt below was pulled from Social Security's Listing of Impairments. It reflects SSA's reliance on IQ tests:

.......

A. Mental incapacity evidenced by dependence upon others for personal needs (e.g., toileting, eating, dressing, or bathing) and inability to follow directions, such that the use of standardized measures of intellectual functioning is precluded;
OR
B. A valid verbal, performance, or full scale IQ of 59 or less;
OR
C. A valid verbal, performance, or full scale IQ of 60 through 70 and a physical or other mental impairment imposing an additional and significant work-related limitation of function;
OR
D. A valid verbal, performance, or full scale IQ of 60 through 70, resulting in at least two of the following:
1. Marked restriction of activities of daily living; or
2. Marked difficulties in maintaining social functioning; or
3. Marked difficulties in maintaining concentration, persistence, or pace; or
4. Repeated episodes of decompensation, each of extended duration.
........

I think my thread topic is a form of trickle down effect where what was DONE to blacks left some psychological mark on them passed on by their last of kin, etc. and the whites are trickling on down on this effect by way of guilt by association yet these modernized/assimilated hillbillies of Baltimore and Maryland may not even have anything to do with it directly but it does show through both side's gestures, that I can observe. This place is awkward at best, as awkward as Chicago.

Spook these days means a spy who works for intelligence agencies
like the CIA, FBI or NSA.

My definition of warped ideas of femininity and masculinity in Baltimore
does not mean being LBGT (that's a layer underneath), it means the inability of men to settle
disputes without resorting to violence and women looking to celebrities like Nicki Minaj as role
models.
