Lutherville-Timonium or Rodgers Forge? (Baltimore: townhouse, elementary schools, moving to)

My family is moving to Baltimore this summer and are now looking at homes in Rodgers Forge and Lutherville-Timonium.

Rodgers Forge seems to have a great community spirit and I like that kids can walk to school. However, we found a great single family home in Lutherville-Timonium.

We are really debating if a single family home would outweigh the great community feel of Rodgers Forge?

Any input in the community feel of Lutherville-Timonium? Difference in elementary schools?

It might depend on the ages of your kids. I think Rodgers Forge is a great area for smaller kids, especially with them being able to play in the streets and walk to school. However, I think the typical RF townhouse might feel too small with teenagers, especially if there is only one upstairs bath.

An SFH obviously gives everyone more breathing room.
