I have recently relocated over Northwest and I always knew about the giant hill on Lake Avenue in Mount Washington. I was wondering if there is anything special about this hill besides there being a house on top of it? I have no idea if its really called "Dixon Hill" but I coined the name from a side street that is next to it. I just find the topography interesting and knowing Baltimore, there is usually a story behind everything.

The area is some of the oldest "suburbs" B'more has.
Former summer homes converted to fulltime as well.

Go up Smith a bit and you'll pass what was once a copper mine.

Thanks! Correction it's Devon Hill, not Dixon.
