Many cities have law restrictions on squeege boys; Chicago and DC as example. Yesterday I drove from North Ave near Bolton Hill to Eastern downtown. In that one trip, I encountered 3 squeegee boys, the pie guy, and askes for money by 3 different people. Every block its something... This alone is not attractive for the cities initiative for more homeowners.

Sometimes they are grownup drug users. Its just more proof Baltimore had become a dump.

Over on North Ave and Hilton Pkwy they were/are so aggressive that I read they have fenced off the traffic island they stand on. I read it in one of the updates from the council president. I haven't been over there to see if it is working. The last time I was there the person in front of me stopped five car lengths from the light. The guys took note and ran full tilt towards the vehicle. The light changed and the person speed up and had to dodge them to get through the light I was right behind them but the person behind me got caught in the scrum and they took their frustration taken out on them ....from what I could see in my rear view mirror

Honestly these kids are no more annoying than the people hanging out at every major intersection in Howard County (Elkridge) begging for themselves or asking for donations to help animals or the fire department or whatever charity of the day it is.

Not only are they more annoying than the homeless begging on every street corner, they are a lot more dangerous. You don't see any more of that in Baltimore County after they passed that no begging law.

That's not true, these kids are far more aggressive. Most don't take kindly to cheaPSKATES.
Here'S a tip: Never drive a nice care downtown!

I got my own story as well; a kid wiped my windshield when I said no, then started mumbling and mugging at me and the traffic behind me to make it seem like I WAS THE ONE TO ASK TO HAVE MY WINDSHIELD CLEANED YET I DIDN'T BOTHER TO GIVE HIM ANY CHANGE...

The driver behind me drove next to me to give me "that look"!

I guess that kid was crying foul of not getting tipped?

I work near the intersection of Rt.1 and Rt. 175. The people looking for handouts there either just stand there or they walk past the stopped traffic with their signs and buckets. They don't approach your car unless you want to give them something, and they never bother you with squeegees.
