Didn't read the link I posted? It laid out how it came about, and it didn't originate with the school board. As a note, over the last 30 years or so Prince George's County Public Schools has periodically cancelled field trips to both Baltimore and DC over safety concerns.

Doesn't matter, you'd cry racism in any event.

The criminals in Baltimore are always back out on the street before too long.
It's safer to visit a war zone than Baltimore at times.

I'll keep paying a fraction of what I'd pay in other cities for a nice apartment in a nice negborhood with a gym and pool in my building. I'm happy where I am, hope you're happy wherever you live.

My daughter works at JHU. She is escorted to the parking lot when she leaves work, it's an awful area.

Apparently not if you have a gym and pool in your building. Maybe the residents could invite some of the neighborhood youth in to share those amenities.

We have a family member who works there too. Great job but she has decided to leave because of the crime in the area. It's sad. Many people will not go to JH hospital downtown anymore as well. Luckily there are now JH facilities in other areas outside of the city. Unfortunately, certain things at Wilmer Eye need to be done in the downtown location as well as many of the clinical trials.

I grew up in DC and PG, I don't remember school trips being canceled to DC ??
