A good run by UMBC. They already made history and got great exposure. So they had a great run. People who look into the school further because of the NCAA tournament exposure are seeing how good of an academic school it is, especially in the medical sciences (produced 2 Surgeon Generals, including the current one).

I cannot believe UNC and UVA both lost before the Sweet 16 that was the biggest shock of the tourney so far even bigger than just the UMBC win.

I'm a little ambivalent about UMBC's win. Good for them, I guess; but then again, I've always respected that school for their emphasis on academics. I hope that this athletic victory doesn't result in them increasing their emphasis on sports at the cost of academics.
