Why doesn't Baltimore have a Chop'T, Gusto, Cava Mezze Grill, Sweetgreen, Bibipop?

Baltimore has a SweetGreen which is next door to Cava, and there is a Cosi downtown I think in the Bank of America building.

Even downtown Baltimore, an urban area, doesn't have any of these. There's a Cava Mezze but it's a sit-down restaurant with menus similar to the Italian restaurants. What I'm talking about is casual eateries, like the Cava Mezze Grill (rice/bowls), Gusto (bowls/salads), Chop'T (salads), Bibibop (rice/meat bowls), with healthy ingredients like fruits and vegetables.

Probably already said, but there's a Sweetgreen in Harbor East.

I'm a big Chopt fan. I wouldn't mind a Chopt at all.

Nalley Fresh is not that great to me. Neither is Cava.

There is a place in Baltimore, Cilantro. Israeli shawarma and falafel. Much, much better than Cava, but not really salad based. It used to be in Owings Mills.

Thanks for the heads up on Cilantro's new location. The food is good at the Owings Mills location; now I won't have to go out of my way to get it.

Yes, Baltimore has a very, very small Chinatown. It is centered along Park Avenue between Saratoga Street on the south and Mulberry Street on the north. There are a couple of Chinese social clubs and a few Chinese restaurants, though most have closed or moved on to more prosperous areas when downtown went downhill.
