Amazon is a crooked company. Never paid it fair share of taxes, contributes to the demorat party and ruins the environment.

Yes. With the casino, mall and woodrow wilson bridge traffic now, adding amazon traffic will be unnerving. Plus there are several government offices that have or are moving to Crystal City, mine being one of them.

This is adding more problems to an already problem area.

The commutes from Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's is driving and commuter buses. No public transportation to speak of, yet. That nightmare will continue.

People that live near the new Casino and National Harbor in Ft. Wash, District Heights and Oxon Hill will have a big impact on their commute and it's already hectic.

The metro is already stretched to it's limit with lots of problems.

Not for several years. No need.

I don't really see many Amazon transplants coming to the east side of the Potomac. Possibly spin offs will.

What I was trying to say is that if Amazon came to Port Covington...I would doubt that they would be overly concerned with crime as PC is more of a self contained community much like Harbor East.. Amazon would more likely be concerned with national headlines about crime in Baltimore damaging their "image" along with poor city governance as opposed to a fear of something happening to their employees. I am sure they would create a benefits district and have armies of security patrolling their buildings and campus along with the streets around many of these new residential buildings... Arlington as it is averages one to two homicides per year.. some property crimes and drunk college grads/ older frat boys fighting in Clarendon, incidents of indecent exposure along bike/walking trails, shoplifting at Pentagon City Mall, and petty crimes around Metro Stations.. are the major crimes in Arlington thus likely a non issue for Amazon....
