neighborhoods do not have Robbery, theft, Assault with deadly Weapon, Vehicle Theft, House Breaking, safe to walk around etc.

maybe Towson, Lutherville, Mays Chapel, Hampton, Pikesville, Catonsville, Timonium, Perry Hall...

My suggestion would be to check some of the sites for crime.

Spotcrime or Crimereports

With everything that is going on in Baltimore City I'd also suggest to not look in areas of the county that closely borders the city.

And Cockeysville, Hereford, Monkton, Phoenix, Sparks, Glencoe, Glen Arm, White Hall, Freeland.......

You can go further north.....

That's a weird list. Areas with Neighborhoods mixed in. And May's Chapel will be expensive.

Pikesville, and Catonsville are out of place on that list. Not unsafe, but

It really depends on what the OP wants as far as living arrangements. Rural, VS Urban.

Thanks for your replies & suggestions. I did search houses in 21227, 21228, 21244, 21133, & 21208. I tried to avoid crimespot using BC crimestats. There are lot of properties from flippers in this area and I am skeptical to look into this properties .

As a long time resident, and one who grew up in Baltimore County, I can assure you that there are no safe neighborhoods. In EVERY neighborhood, there are crimes like you describe above, even in neighborhoods where $2 million houses are the norm. The crime rate is not as high as Baltimore City, but burglaries, home invasions, vehicle theft, and even stray gunshots are big problems out here.

Juts look at Rt 695 which encircles Baltimore. Most any area inside the 695 circle can be unsafe and outside the circle is safe. The further inside the beltway you go, the more risky it usually gets. There are a few neighborhoods that buck that trend, but not many. Baltimore is a democrat city and therefore violent and dangerous.

OP: please don't use this as advice, it's not very useful and comes from a very biased poster with a history of making up "facts."

You can use Neighborhood Scout, Spotcrime, or even here on City-Data for factual information regarding crimes stats.
