Note that it's at the confluence of those four attributes where the trouble lies. OLD poor black men don't gather in groups and randomly attack people by suddenly coming out of nowhere and pummeling and kicking them. Neither do young AFFLUENT black men. Neither do young poor NON-BLACK men. And neither do young poor black WOMEN. Remove any one of the four traits I've listed, and the propensity for random, unprovoked, vicious violence drops precipitously. But put them all together, and you get incidents like the one being discussed here. (Not always, obviously. But the odds increase dramatically.)

If stating this observation makes me a racist, then that word has lost all meaning.

"Stupid made up ghetto names" is what raised my antennas. Black people from every one of those categories that you've listed has has one of those stupid made up ghetto names.

Baltimore needs to get on the ball and deter these kinds of crimes. Anything less is unacceptable.

I will never forget a few years ago riding the metro in DC, when a group of maybe 15 (male AND female) teens got on the metro. It was after work and the metro was quiet. I bet it's just another group of loud Asians again, right? Always out causing trouble and yelling the N-word.

I actually do see Baltimore getting just a fraction better inside of North Avenue. I also see the suburbs getting gradually worst.

You mean like the 2 people stabbed at Marthitas Bar & Grill in Bushwick, NYC when it spilled out into the street back in April?

Or maybe 20+ person brawl that was recorded at Ojos Locos Sports Cantina in San Antonio last weekend

Or maybe the 50 person brawl that happened at 2 a.m. in the parking lot outside DogTooth Sports and Music Bar, in Naples, FL last weekend as well.

Again I'm not condoning their behavior. But we are talking about people who were drunk off their ass and then started fighting/attacking/harassing people because they got kicked out of a bar.

Do you know how many times I've been in some high-end bar on DuPont Circle or U-Street in DC, some college frat boys start a big ass fight, get kicked out of said bar and then immediately started fights with people outside on the street minding their own business because they're drunk and butt hurt. Would you like me go on about my experiences in NYC or Vegas or L.A?

If you think this exclusively happens in Baltimore; reality check it doesn't. I'm not making up a false premise, you are.

You need to start evaluating your experiences and what you do that puts you into these situations and start making changes. This says more about you than it does about those places.
