She might be able to be but Mfume will beat her like a drum, so that particular office is a non-starter. Go over to the Elections forum and see the Democrat robe wearers destroying her. I don't think they've called her a lesbian yet (like they always did with Condoleeza Rice) but wait for it.

It seems that they've already started. Her husband is an accountant in his family's practice, but there are rumors that he is a strip club manager who brings young girls into prostitution. Even the Daily Mail says he is a strip club manager.

I think that glosses over too many realities. By removing good middle-class jobs from a community at the same time that education and cost-of-living are increasing in price, you make it more difficult for people to achieve that education. It's a feedback loop that only ends in poverty if left unchecked.

But I do agree, the endless quest to increase shareholder profits is self-destructive. It only breeds discontent.

Corporate Democrats and Republicans are the problem. That's why I like Brandon Scott who won the Dem primary, I don't take away that he is of that ilk, unlike some of the last few mayors of the city.

We'll get back to that.

Who is removing? What jobs? What are you talking about?

If this comment is about the de-industrialization mentioned earlier in the thread,
(almost all of which occurred DECADES ago), you should probably start there.

Do you live in District 7?

Any of you?

Again, geographically speaking most of the District is affluent.

And you think gerrymandering is a Republican scam. Gerrymandering is why the 7th is large in Howard County. And it is not the worst case of it in Maryland.

It is PRIMARILY a Republican scam, at least it was this past decade. Democrats are likely to try and follow the GOP playbook for this next decade. Contingent upon '20 going well for them down-ballot, of course.

But we are talking about what state here? Republicans have nothing to do with districting in this state.
