I'm moving from the Eastern Shore to work in Annapolis. Budget is $600k for a house.

The plan is to be roommates with a friend from the area, who also works in Annapolis. I'll be working for the US Naval Academy, in a finance position. As a woman idk if that'll be a good place to meet people. I might wanna live closer to Baltimore. Is Annapolis a good place for single people in our late 20s?

Any suggestions on what places we should live? Preferably between Annapolis and Baltimore. Checked out a few areas, I loved Severna Park but seems more family-oriented. Any ideas on a nice leafy suburb with young people?
