670 million dollars in Covid Relief Funds for Baltimore City.

Okay, Mayor Brandon Scott, this is your chance to do some
major investments in the city that will cause the morass
that is current to subside. Don't be Mayor Houdini and let
the money disappear.

Okay City Comptroller Bill Henry, time to live up to your
campaign promises of "fiscal responsibility". We have
had a shady Pratt and I am not talking about a city
library under an oak tree.

Mayor Scott may well be limited in what those funds can be used for so "major investments" may not happen.

The original funding was to be used to replace lost tax revenues, give aid to small businesses, support ongoing initiatives and agencies and residential tax relief, not to build any City "investments" or start new programs.

I don't know what this round can be used for but, knowing how bureaucrats think, there's probably not much change from last year's money.
