I will be in town to do some wedding planning this weekend in Baltimore. Anyone have recommendations on a good bridal shop in the Towson/Hunt Valley, Baltimore area? Price range... about a 1k for a dress. Thanks!

Shop the Eastern Avenue shops. Their famous for being in the John Waters films.

I don't know if they are still in the area, but all of our family and friends used to use Pacey's in downtown Baltimore. They had a huge selection, and you could even get many of the dresses featured in Bride Magazine. The staff was wonderful and everyone that I know that used them couldn't be more pleased.

I just got married in Baltimore. Here are my recommendations:

In Towson: Gamberdella's (a little pricier) and M'Jourdelle (somewhat disorganized but a nice selection and more affordable prices)
In Pikesville: Betsy Robinson Bridal (very fancy, appointment required before you go, huge selection)
In Fallston/Bel Air: Priceless Moments Bridal (small cottage setting, decent prices/selection)

Good luck!

I used to work at Lilys Bridal in Glen Burnie, MD. Glen Burnie isn't the prettiest area around, but i always thought we had a great selection of dresses, and they're all very very reasonably priced.

I haven't been in a wedding in a while and am now a bridesmaid. I was shocked at how nice the dresses were at Davids. Def reasonably priced too. They are definitely starting to design for all body types and make dresses that look flattering on everyone. Their bridesmaid dresses were so nice, if I were getting married I'd just get one of them in white.
