So basically every gym offers group fitness classes with their membership. For the outrageous membership fee a person can go to the group fitness classes. But what if I only want to go to group fitness classes and not use any other part of the gym? Shouldn't there be a discount? Or what about a gym that caters JUST to those that are motivated to work out in a group setting for a smaller membership fee? Does anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I'm proposing a gym that offers only group fitness for a lower membership fee than what these huge gyms that offer everything are charging. Please let me know what you think of this idea!

(I'm completely new to this website so I hope that I can figure out how to see everyone's responses! E-mail me directly if you wouldn't mind letting me know how to check )

Default Kind of

From what i know about Curves they offer group fitness in a circuit setting. There are a group of machines in a circle and each person spends an amount of time at each machine and then they switch. My idea is for different classes; kickboxing, spinning, body pump, etc. So definitely a different route than Curves. If you do know about a gym like this please let me know! Thanks for your response!

Check out Federal Hill Fitness -- they have different rates/membership packages, depending on what time you want to use the gym. It's also small, so you really get personalized attention. Andrea and her husband...I believe his name is Justin....(the owners) are really nice people and knowledgeable about sports medicine. I used to be a member there and had a great experience.
