If you havent ventured down to the Inner Harbor to check out some of the folks participating in this event.. you should. This had gotta be the most diverse crowd of peculiar individuals that I have seen in awhile. I had heard of this event since I first moved up here. Went downtown to head over to Sullivans and got swept up in some of the pre convention festivities that were occuring. I had no idea that this was such a large event, but it is certainly a major contributer to the city's economy... If you get down there this weekend in between trips to Artscape.. enjoy

I believe it the largest group the Convention Center has each year.

Something like 27,000 registered to attend. I don't know what's better--watching the attendees or the looks on the faces of people who encounter them.

Yeah I know what you mean.. I was walking through the crowd and was dressed in business casual attire...a homeless guy wandered over to me and said.."Wada hell is goin on here in baltimore .....I figured I ask u because your the only normal looking guy around here..."
