Hi! I am interested in relocating to Baltimore to teach. I am currently a teacher in Texas. Can anyone give me a head start. Prefer PG County.

I teach in PG county. The children there are very needy, and there are times it is very hard. But I love my school and I go home every day knowing I made a difference. Howard county is the best county to teach in. Anne Arundel is also ok. I would steer clear of Baltimore City or County. I went to school and did my student teaching there and hated it.

Baltimore City and County both have good schools in them. When you apply, ask to see the school and the neighborhood. Get a feel for it before you decide. That goes for every district in the state of Maryland including PG and Howard.

the drive between PG co and Baltimore is very traffic-y. If you plan to move to Baltimore, I would stick with the counties nearby or the city. The last thing you need after a long stressful day is a long stressful drive (I'm a teacher too).

why are you moving to Baltimore to teach in PG?

I teach in Baltimore City and love it to death. What do you teach?
