She will NOT win. I'm calling this one. Regardless of her fathers past. She's not an inviting or welcoming person. If the Rawlings name was a legacy Wendell would have won his fathers seat, but he didn't. How far away away until we see who's right? When's the next election?

Dixon is only barred from running for political office in the next two years. Would she have a shot if she wanted to run again? Who would win, her versus Rawlings Blake?

I had to march in the Mayor's Parade last month. Too bad they didn't parade her in an orange prison jumpsuit and leg irons.

I don't think Dixon would have a shot--or the arrogance to try it--but the next mayoral election she would be eligible for would be 2015. That's too far off to make any predictions.

Who knows who will win the 2011 election. Ms. Rawlings-Blake doesn't have a whole lot of time to make a name for herself and is entering office in the midst of a looming fiscal crisis. She'll have her work cut out for her.
