Replied to your email earlier today. Under 1400, furnished, with a fitness center around JHU will more than likely relegate you to a 1br/1ba. I'll see what I can dig up otherwise, like above I'd check with the university to see what options they have.

If you are looking for a greener environment yet with amenities and not far from the drinking spots you will probably be happy living near the JHU Homewood campus in North Baltimore. Ask the JHU housing center about apartment buildings on University Parkway and in Tuscany Canterbury and even in Roland Park. Quite a few Hopkins staff, faculty and students live in this part of town. There are small parks nearby, including the rustic Wyman Park that has a running trail. If the building does not have a gym, you can always join the Hopkins gym complex which is right off University Parkway by the lacrosse stadium. (Hopkins staff should get a reduced rate, I think).

This quarter is one of the most leafy and pleasant in Baltimore and is handy to anywhere. 20 minutes from the JHU hospital complex, twenty minutes from the shopping and malls in Towson, twenty minutes from the hot spots of downtown.

Yes we are, but luckily we are easily confused and geographically ignorant, therefore easy to subdue. I have got lots of advice so far and plenty of leads to follow.... happy days!
Thanks guys!
