i like the city - and all it has to offer but this is a big venture out - just want some sense to feel secure when relocating I have heard there are many places to avoid hence the concern-I don't want to get stuck in a lease when I can avoid it doing some research on the area & getting feedback from people who know more then me about the area.

Woodlock-the city has some very nice areas to choose from. I always thought that although the city has issues, the burbs around here literally suck. You will judge for yourself. As I have written before take all opinions, including mine, with a grain of salt and check other sites for additional choices.

i'll becoming down to take a look around. I've lived in cities before. My last venture I could turn right but never ever could I walk to the left side of my apartment! Any further suggestions will be appreciated Thanks all!
