Anybody have feedback on Harborview in Fed Hill? Am thinking of buying a condo.

Harborview has great views, large floor plans, balconies for outdoor space and offers a lot of amenities in a resort environment. There are (were?) many foreclosures so carefully review the condo docs to make sure the association is well capitalized. What are your concerns?

I read somewhere that it was loud, mice were prevalent. That there are better places to live.

None of those things are considered bad in Bmore.

Vision, I think you'll hear bad stuff about any large complex anywhere on earth. Get a home inspection and regular pest control visits.

I live a few blocks away and the neighborhood is about as good as Baltimore gets. A friend rents a condo in the Pierside condos. He's pretty happy with it.

Silo Point, down Fort Avenue near Fort McHenry, might be a good alternative. Prices for a 1 bedroom condo (around 1100 square feet) start in the upper 200's. And it's a pretty neat building.

Silo Point has great outdoor space; probably the best I've seen for a high-rise.
