My family and I presently live in Mount Vernon, but we are thinking about moving out to the county. My daughter will be in private school, so that is not a factor. My wife works in Canton so we are looking at houses in Overlea near Belmar Park. How are the neighborhoods in that area? Thanks for your help.

Hi BMoreHokie - I know this is an old post, but my wife and I have the exact same question! We're looking at houses in the Belmar neighborhood too. It seems nice, but it's always comforting to hear that others feel the same way. Did you end up buying a home in the Belmar/Overlea area?
