Hi all. Moving to maine from florida after 25 years in the south. My wife and i just cant take the heat any more. We are buying a house in Prentiss just outside of Springfield
My main question is , work in the area. Im a retired carpenter and my wife is a licensed pharmacy technician. Do any of you fine people know is there is any work in that area in the pharmacy trade. Me i hope to work part time banging nails. thanks all

Funny, I am moving soon to Florida from Maine (Portland)! From what I can tell pharmacy jobs should be easy to come by here. I am moving to Florida because occupational therapy jobs are not easy to come by here. It can get humid here in the summer but I am sure it is nothing like Florida. Good luck with your move!

There is a Rite-Aid pharmacy and there are pharmacies in Walmart and Shop 'n Save in Lincoln. Her options are limited unless she's willing to travel. Research the area and economy well. Welcome to Maine. You're moving to a beautiful area.
