Hello to all. I am looking for a place to stay for about a month from early September in the Houlton area, preferably within about 20 minutes' drive of Linneus. Need not be fancy. I have recently bought some land in Linneus. My son and I will be making preparation for building a cabin. I have stayed at motels in Houlton -all very nice, but that could get costly over two or three weeks. And camping on the property -while also very nice, would entail distraction from our 'to-do' list. I would welcome any suggestions from the members of this forum. Thank you. Alden

You'll probably have better luck by posting this in the general forum. The Bangor forum is just about dead.

JoulesMSU,
Nope. I soon saw that I was looking at at a couple hours of driving. I reposted to the general forum. Initially, when I found these forums I thought that I had to choose either Bangor or Portland. I failed to note that there was a third option. Thanks.
