I used to live in Frankfort,Maine and am looking to move back to maine and Im looking to buy a small house or cottage on a rent to own basis and has sufficient land for a garden or two. My credit is poor right now because of hospital and medical bills I had to pay off. It left me in hole now. I am unable to get a loan which is just as well and i don't like credit much, it just tends to get one into trouble. I would rather avoid a credit situation. A 1/4 or more of land would be sufficient for what i need but nothing over 1 acre.

Now as to what i can afford. I am on disability and a fixed income is small indeed but I believe that i can probably afford around $300 to $550 per month for rent but every $100 of that payment made is to be a payment to own the home. Also i have a small pet, a minpin/chihuahua so must allow pet.

As I said, I used to live in Frankfort many years ago and im looking in the areas of Bangor, Swanville, Searsport, Ellesworth or anywhere within the Bangor area not too far from town.

Please DM me.
