Marden's in Brewer. You never know what they'll have or or how long it will be there. If you're there at the right time you can find great deals. We bought a $899 dresser for $189 last week and can't find a thing wrong.

I went to Furniture Gallery on Broadway after I moved here. I though the selection was good, the quality was decent but not spectacular, and the prices were pretty good. They delivered my couch to my home. Marden's and Walmart and Target will be cheaper, but you will likely get pretty low quality stuff.

Mardens does not sell junk. I bought a pair of Remington goretex winter coveralls for $19.95. They are $129.95 in outdoor catalogs. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I should have bought two. Their motto is;

"I should have bought it when I saw it at Mardens."

Marden's *does* sell some junk, real junky chinese stuff and inferior seconds of Brand names. Not everything is worth buying, some is, some isn't, you got to know what you're looking at and how to tell the difference.
