Compare to what?

For me, Maine summers are uncomfortably hot and muggy from about late June through early September pretty much anywhere in Maine. Someone from Louisiana or Florida might still want a jacket.

Normal is 70s during day. 50s at night. That's the normal which is an average of all days. So that means it can be 80s during the day or 60s during the day. Also sometimes in June it can get down in the 40s at night or stay in the 60s in middle of summer. Humidity isn't bad because it's away from the coast.

Hope that helps. Depends what the pattern is like. Each summer can be different.

Last year there was a heat wave July 3, 4, 5 then didn't see 90s until August 2nd, 6th & 7th. So it can get pretty hot and humid but it doesn't last there.
