We're heading up to Maine in 4 weeks and we're spending a few days in Bangor. I'm going to be exploring the area and am hoping to browse some real estate.

Could anyone recommend some real estate agents who handle the Bangor area? Ideally, we're looking for something out of town, but within a 15-20 minute drive. We'd like to get a house and around 5 acres. We aren't against buying a fixer upper and don't need anything huge - our current home is just shy of 1,200 sq ft. Does anyone know a ballpark price we might be looking at? Obviously, it will vary, but I just want to be at least modestly knowledgeable about the market before we start talking to realtors.

Thank you!

We unfortunately are not able to make the move to Maine that we want at this time, but we did some fairly extensive looking with an agent at the beginning of the year in the Bangor area. He was great! I'll PM you his name and contact info.

My dad is a real estate agent in Bangor. He has lived there for 35 years so is quite an expert on the area. I will DM you his info. I envy you, wish I was moving there.
