Hi guys, i need a bit of help from the regulars from these 2 sets of fans or fans in general.

I am coming to New York at the end of June. A few questions...

Which is the safer game to go to?

How hard is it to get tickets(Not fussed about where i sit)?

When do tickets go on sale?

How do you get to the ground from NYC itself, (Im staying in the Chelsea Savoy)?

I lived in NY for a time as well as DC and have gone to games at New Yankee Stadium, Shea and Citi. Neither stadium is unsafe.

Get to Yankee stadium early, a few hours at least before the game so you have time to check out Monument Park.

You can spend a day around Citi field and checkout Flushing Meadows

Not hard. Depending on who they are playing when you go. If it is the Yankees vs the Red Sox that might be harder to get into.

Looks like the Yankees play the Rockies and the Brewers at the end of June (24th - 30th). Don't imagine those tickets will be too tough to get

The Mets play Oakland the 21st - 23rd. Don't think that'll be tough either.

For both games you could probably get tickets the day of the game, but I like to have tickets before that.

That I'm not sure.

Wow thanks, I didn't expect all my questions answered so quickly. Cheers

I will try for Yankees tickets, as I have always wanted to go see them.
