Not that it is decisive, but the psychological factors are all with the A's in today's game. Not only is the game in Oakland, but the A's are going mad with elation because they have come from so far behind to catch up on the final day. The Rangers on the other hand have been watching their once massive lead getting smaller and smaller until..poof, suddenly it is gone and they face the possibility of losing the division which they dominated all year. They must be plagued with doubts and worry.

Yes it can. Every single game counts, if this team didn't start off hot then they wouldn't even make the playoffs.

I can't wait until this coke-headed cancer Hamilton is off the team.

What happened to the Rangers was my worst nightmare a few weeks ago, I was so worried that the Braves would somehow catch up to the Nationals and take the division at the last minute...thankfully that didn't happen. I'm more relaxed now, at least until Sunday when the playoffs start.

Having to win a "play-in" game to even make the postseason is not a good season for this Rangers team.
