The fun never ends in this City of Champions. The Red Sox were dominant all year. I think the entire team should have been named World Series MVP - reminds me of the Patriots being introduced as a team at Super Bowl XXXVI.

This win was very predictable after seeing what the Red Sox did to the Astros. David Price did a great job for you guys. Your getting big now, big and green, the big green monster that ate Los Angeles. Red Sox are the only ones I know that can eat more than Tommy Lasorda, congratulations.

This is such a likable team and apart from the 2004 team, my second favorite ever.

7-1 road record in these playoffs is amazing.

Amazing to think the Red Sox with their 108 regular season wins had home field advantage throughout the three playoff series yet played far more road games (8 verus 6) since they were so dominant they never had to return home. They also did better away (7-1) than home (4-2) clinching each series on the road.

This Sox team will certainly go down as the best in the organization's history and will also be among the sport's best all time with a regular season record of 108-54 and playoff record of 11-3.

Humble group of guys!

Still would love to hear the Chris Sale audio of his "pep talk" in the dugout!

One of the guys, Papi, A-Rod or Frank Thomas asked him about that last night and he said it was nothing they didn't know but he was so fired up that he just let loose. He had his kids on his lap so Papi said "earmuffs for the kids!" Sales agreed.

I also loved when A-Rod said after he and Jason Varitek sat down between Papi and A-Rod and A-Rod said "I never thought I would be hugging so many Red Sox....now as my nightmare continues....." I just LOVED it!!!

In the four World Series the Red Sox have won this century, they are 16-3....842 ball. Looking for comparisons, I note that the '49 through '53 Yankees who won five straight championships, were 20-7...740 ball.

I liked the way they all said about each other and manager, no egos. T E A M. No "I" in team. Just like the Patriots and look what that's gotten them.

Boggs, Bledsoe....BIG EGOS.

I have to admit a secret I've had for years.....I was kind of a traitor to The Nation. When they traded Dewey to the Orioles, I had no one to idolize anymore. I switched my attention to A-Rod. I never wanted them to win but I liked looking at him.

Now he's not so cute anymore. Getting fatter and flabbier. Beninvedior is easy to look at.

Believe it or not, this is my 1st WS that the Soxies have won that I have watched! 65 years old.

2004, we had just lost a game in the WS, I was talking to my Dad on the phone and said, "you know, Dad, I am beginning to wonder if even I will live long enough to see them win a WS!" Dad said "they WILL." That night Dad died! I have always said he had "inside information ". I did not watch it, I was in mourning.

2007, my late hubby hated baseball and was a football guy. My ex-husband had hated football and was a baseball guy! So now I can indulge my two favorite sports! I have a "Now I Can Die Happy" from 2004 even if I missed it. Now I CAN die happy because I witnessed last night!!! Thank you Soxies!!!

The Red Sox Duck Boat Parade is scheduled for 11am on Wednesday 10/31/18. It will be the city's first championship parade since February 2017 and the 11th since the duck boat tradition started back in 2002 (Pats-5 / Sox-4 / Celts-1 / Bruins-1).

As a Dodgers fan since 1962, I'll say congratulations.

Thanks.

Keep the faith. 30 years may seem tough but it is a lot less than 86.
