if you would have told me the Indians would have a 3-1 lead and they would lose 3 in a row and the last 2 at home, I wouldn't believe you.

Napoli has to be the biggest disappointment, he struck out 6 times in the last 2 games......and the DH Santana was 1-8 in the last 2 games.

Lindor was 0-8 in the last 2 games and 0-5 in game 7.

Sorry that is what you call CHOKED!

I knew when Crisp was swapped out for Martinez it was a mistake. Indians' last hope ending up being Mini-Mart with a bat in his hands. Terrible position to put your team in. Removing Crisp's weak arm from the game wasn't worth the trade-off.

I thought Kluber was left in there too long. He looked off all night, scared of the moment feel. When David Ross hits one off your ace, it's a bad bad thing.

Better luck next year, Indians. I'll be pulling for you, unless you face the Cubs again.

It's not like the bullpen did much better. This was the battle of the exhausted pitchers, and the Cubs just happened to limp across the line first. Of course it didn't have to be, I can't believe Maddon yanked Hendricks while he was cruising with a 5-run lead. Man, his boys really rescued him today.

the Indians pitching was off but its hard to beat the Cubs when your TOP batters are choking.

Santana 1-4
Kipnis 1-5 3K
Lindor 0-5
Napoli 0-5 3k

Napoli was worthless in the last 3 games.....I expected more from him since he played for multiple W.S. teams in Texas and Boston.

I'm surprised that the Indians pushed this into extra innings, once they got to the bottom of the batting lineup in the 8th, the Indians top of the batting order had to do something in the 9th when they had Chapman against the ropes and the top lineup from the Indians choked.

True Chapman had no fastball left and they still could not figure it out.

I hate to see the Indians lose this way, again. This has to hurt, eerily similar to the game 7 in '97 with the Marlins, going into extra innings and having your pitching fail. Kluber was not fresh tonight. The Indians were 3 games up and had it stolen from them. I remember how I felt in 2014 when Mad Bum did this horrible thing to my beloved Royals, it bit the brown. The Tribe made this series very exciting and I respect the club. Tonight was awful and the way they had Jacobs packed with so many Cubs fans was kinda disgusting for this last game. I hope the Indians don't stop believin', it will happen someday, and I hope you don't have to wait 108 years like the Cubs.

I disagree, it wasn't stolen, they choked.....the Indians batters choked in the last 2 games at home.

Santana 1-4
Kipnis 1-5 3K
Lindor 0-5
Napoli 0-5 3k

that's 2 out of 19 in game 7........you can't win that way............they were cold in game 6 and I was expecting they would show up in game 7 and they choked.

Napoli should have been bench, he was a liability at bat.

Well, those Indians still got 7 runs, had the pitching been a little better I don't think the Cubs could have gotten 8.

If the Tribe is feelin' bad tonight, think back to game 4 at the former cold and haunted spookhouse, the pre-halloween hell hole known as Wrigley Field. All those Cubs fans quiet as a mouse, getting pounded by the Indians, having paid all that money two nights in a row just to drink beer and watch those Cubbies lose another at home, knowing with 98% certainty they were going down in game 5, losing 3 in a row at home. Even Bill Murray couldn't chase that away that rotten cursed feeling in the 7th inning stretch. It had to feel like the end of the world for them that night, without hope or prayer. Indians would have been just as happy to put them away in game 5, as Cubs were to put down the Tribe in game 7.

Sorry that batch of Royal Jelly they flew in this afternoon did not help.
