Indians struggled all day losing big to the Yankees 8-1 today but they did win the first two games against the Yankees in Cleveland. They play Colorado in a two game series Tuesday night in Ohio.
Indians win the four game series in Tampa Bay and they will go to Boston tomorrow night for a makeup game from August 2nd and then travel to Minnesota in a three game series against the Twins.

It's make or break time for the Twins. If they should win the series against the Indians, I think they're psychologically in the race for the rest of the season. A sweep by the Indians would be absolutely devastating. I understand that Kluber won't be pitching in this series. Breaks my heart.
Frankly, with the talent level of the Indians, I'm surprised that they haven't run away with the division title by now. IF the Twins don't make the playoffs, I'll be rooting for the Indians.

That is because the Indians have been inconsistent all year. First they were hitting but not pitching. Now the pitching has been excellent but the offense has been anemic. They have 6 divisional games this week: 3 vs Twins, 3 vs Royals. This is the most important week of the season thus far
