Do you know anyone with the At Bat app or something similar? He could watch it on an iPad.
Some of the problems we had was poor cellular service, and a restrictive free wifi system in the hospital. There were three or four of us in his room for game one trying desperately to get the game on iPhone, android, and my iPad. No luck.
I guess we just have to accept that a business's financial interest sometimes outweigh the fan's interest in the end.
Just heard from my sister. He has started going downhill faster. I won't go so far as to say that the lack of excitement from seeing the Indians in the playoffs is contributing, but I think if he was able to watch the games, he would be doing better. I just hope he hangs in long enough to see them win the whole thing. If they do anyway. I think he would be satisfied enough just to see them through as far as they can go.

Now the Indians lost to the Yankees 1-0 tonight and if they lose again they are eliminated from postseason. They must win the next game to survive.
There's still a Game 5 in Cleveland dude and the Indians up 2-1.
