Yesiree! In 3rd grade (1957) I discovered baseball and liked it ever since. In school I was determined to be a major leaguer, either pitcher or second base. Over 40 years as a Cubs fan! Where I currently live (Louisville, Ky) baseball is not very popular, so it's hard to keep up with all the teams.

Then things have changed in Louisville. A few decades ago, Triple A ball was so successful there that Charlie Finley sought to move his A's to Louisville prior to the Oakland move.

Baseball is #1 in my universe, without question. (Football is next, but not in danger of capturing the brass ring).

I love baseball, and I love the Detroit Tigers. Have been a huge fan of the Tigers since my first trip to Tigers Stadium when I was 7.

Having said that, football; and in particular college football, has always been my number one love.
