I support management being loyal to him but I do think he should have taken a SIGNIFICANT pay cut without being asked, because in his late 30's he is not the same player as he was in his late 20's.

As a Met fan who is happy with Reyes performance I just think Jeter is the MVP of NY Baseball. He may not have the numbers Reyes has this year but he absolutely puts more fans in the seats than any player in NY.
Just because I am a Met fan does not mean I have to be a Yankee hater (I'm not 12 years old)
