I hardly comment on baseball but have to say something here...

When I first heard about this story I considered it Bush League as well... But after reading about all the players who have done something similar, Ty Cobb, George Brett, Bernie Williams, etc... It fits in line with BASEBALL. meaning, baseball has always been a sport of cheap tactics. From cheating pitchers putting gunk on the ball, to cheating hitters corking bats, to cheating players gambling on the games, and finally the steroids! Why are baseball fans appalled over this one incident considering the sport has a history of BUSH League tactics?

I was pissed off when he took himself out of the game. I was at the game yesterday.

Because baseball fans are always appalled at the latest incident. Next year, someone will do something cheap, and people will be appalled at that.

If Ted Williams body wasn't frozen, he'd probably be rolling over in his grave.
