The Nats certainly have a chance to do that, particularly if the Braves or Marlins falter. As for the Rangers drawing 3 mil, it certainly could happen, but I'm not counting on it. Fans in Arlington are still complacent during the weekdays. And I expect the Marlin home run display to stay intact for a while.
There are a few good teams. Yankees, Red Sox, Rays, Tigers, Angels and Rangers in the AL. The Phillies in the NL.
A few terrible teams. Astros, Mets, Pirates, Padres in the NL and Mariners, A's, Orioles in the AL.
I'l be quite surprised if any teams outside of the good teams I mentioned in the AL make the playoffs.
Interesting to look back on this. I did not expect the Phils to be last, but I did think Nats had enough to take division even if Phils were healthy, and I thought 2nd would be a battle.
Truthfully, only Phils injury not known 3 months ago is Halladay.
I expected Mets to be about .500, not terrible. They played well under Collins year 1 given the injury list, and with Wright and Davis coming back, I expected improvement. I did not think Dickey would be this good, but I expected a few more wins from Niese at this point.
