I just came across something sickening: listening to MLB Network radio it was announced Tebow would only play "part time" as he will take the weekends off to fulfill his SEC (ESPN) broadcasting duties. This to me is a complete & utter joke! It's a slap in the face to MLB, to the Mets organization, and to his teammates who will come in whether they are sick, don't have transportion, don't have whatever because missing 1 day could mean a broken dream while this bozo will steal at bats and only come in "when he feels like it." Sandy & the Mets front office personnel should be ashamed of themselves! I would give up two arms, two legs and move to Malaysia if it meant getting an opportunity in this spot and he doesn't even give a $#!t about it! It makes me completely sick!

Just go away Tebow, nobody cares about you!!!

Recipe for bad day: Have a ticket to Mets-Twins Sunday, 80% rain chance, and they would play the day game to 10 with rain delays if need be, due to pennant race, no more Twin visits, and Mets playing Monday. So a rainout = having Twins fly in at end of season to play a game that means squat to them.

I will be within 4 rows of cover, so will sit there if its raining. Those tix are still on StubHub , so I know they will go unused.

Great to see Reyes back. 41 runs scored in 52 games.

Big week. Will be interesting to see if they can hold on to that wild card spot.

Never expected to say this, but glad we lost tonight. Still want a WC spot, but winning tonight would have seemed inappropriate. Sports and sportsmanship went together tonight; loved how the Mets and all teams have been acting about the tragedy Sunday. NY Post said after winning 17-0 Sunday, clubhouse was somber. Reyes could not talk to the media.

The Take Me Out to the Ballgame wistfully done was IMO the most heart-breaking part.

Mets were class acts on the field today. And the Cardinals lost anyways, so really no harm no foul, and I'm happy that the Marlins got this.

Ditto: Interesting side note: D'Arnaud admitted by time D Gordon crossed the plate crying, he was , too.
