Harvey's conduct and performance makes one think a pisstest should be in order.

IMO:

How can people be fans of this NY I wouldn't know.

It does come to a point that one needs to find to root for a more "normal" team and ownership just to keep their sanity.

The Mets won't win with the current ownership - 2015 was a fluke as most of the stars aligned with the breeze nonexistent lol imo.

If the Mets are at or below 500 by the end of the month, they should trade off and cut their losses.

Look how the Mets are run vs the Yankees and I'm not speaking of $$$ - mind you I'm not a Yankees fan but wouldn't blame some if they became Yankee fans.

A team that excites me is the Atlanta Braves - they have a bright future.

The Reds, the worst team beat the Mets 2 out of 3!!! Lifeless, injuries (here we go again) and the rest of that only the Mets can do.

I hope I'm wrong but I see no end to their woes.

This team absolutely baffles me.

42 games in and a roller coaster already.

The Mets ownership are like a used car dealer buying bad has-beens and in that past imo falsely hyping up "x" amount of players in their farm system.

Mets, Nats, Phils win..NL East bunched up. Top 2 have 18 losses each, next NYM at 19, then Nats at 21.

NYM to be @ 25 losses this time next week imho.

I could be surprised though.

Hey Met fans, lifelong Yankee fan here. Ok, I know it’s early, but if it looks like the Mets will not be a playoff team by the trade deadline, what do you want for DeGrom. We need pitching, you need major league ready prospects. What seems fair for both teams?

Would you take- Clint Frazier, Tyler Austin and a pitching prospect for him?

No. First I am not sure on playoffs. Ces will be back, Frazier also, and Conforto will hit.

2nd, DeGrom and Syndergaard should be untouchable.

Problem is these 2 losers for owners. Father and son. More worried about the team making the sports pages ( see Tim Tebow signing). Besides competing against the other teams in the NL East, they always have to compete with the Yankees for NYC’s heart, something g they really only had in 1969and mid 80s. Meanwhile Yankees don’t even think about the Mets and just go about their business, That’s the Mets problem

With both Philadelphia & Atlanta ahead of schedule, if the Mets (and Nats for that matter) fall out of the race, they should put about everyone on the trading block for the highest price, especially since neither team's minor league system is good. deGrom is late 20's, there's no way I'm holding onto him, if I get blown away by an offer (see Gleybar Torres/Clint Frazier from the Yankees, etc). Only untouchable on the Mets should be Syndergaard while the only untouchable on the Nats should be Juan Soto, everyone else on both teams should be made available.
