I found it almost surreal to watch him try to paint the corners all through the 9th inning. And the one pitch he threw right over the plate was the one Zobrist decided not to take a cut at. It went for strike three to end the game.

Out of these 5 players, I think Brandon League and Brett Myers would be the best fit. Brett Myers has a hot head so not so sure. Wandy Rodriguez would be great in the rotation but who would you get rid of? Young?

Wow, Dickey is on fire. Another complete game 1 hitter. 13 strikeouts. This guy is amazing. It was great to see Davis hit a grandslam. I think he might be coming out of his slump. I just came back from the Cyclones game. It was opening day. They won 2-0. I got to meet Brandon Nimmo and I also got his autograph =)

I think that when it's all said and done, Dickey is going to rate as the Mets' find of the decade. Watching him pitch this season and thinking that he was considered to be nothing more than a journeyman...well, you can only put it in the words of Casey Stengel: "Amazin'!"

Dickey really didn't have much of a career until his mid-30's, turning into quite an amazing story.

He is a much better pitcher now because he is quite comfortable throwing his knuckleball. In the past, he was a fastball pitcher.

Great win by the Mets. Santana pitched good. Great to see that. Nats lost, so the Mets gained ground =)
