The Astros are continuing their mini-mastery (lack of a better word) of Texas this year. They're now 7-3 against the Rangers with 9 games left against them. They just might win the Silver Boot for the first time since 2006.
Houston has now equaled last year's win total with last night's extra-inning victory and also notched their first franchise win at Fenway Park. Their series in Boston continues tonight.

Congratulations on getting to 52 wins. And you should be getting Springer back soon.
Well, no brooms for the Cleveland series, but, then, it doesn't get any easier. They come home tonight and face an Oakland team who lost last night against the Angels. If Houston wins tonight, it will be the most wins in a season since 2010.

Nice to see they are playing better, just need more bats and relief pitching.
We need to also stay away from injuries.
Gotta love Ol' Mattress Mack. It'll be good for those fans.
In addition, Jose Altuve should be getting more accolades. Great batting average and outstanding field play. He may not be the league's MVP, but he will be the Astros' MVP this year. He's kept them from possibly repeating 111 losses in 2014. This is the one player that has helped turn the Houston franchise from next to nothing a few years ago to a renaissance. Fans had better be thankful for that.
