Oh my goodness, I forgot how much baseball coverage on TBS sucks. It is so damm dry and the announcers put you to sleep because they sound like they don't want to be there. And it makes sense because one of the play by play guys is a host of a NBA show during the winter named Ernie Johnson. Ernie should not be a play by play caller for anything and needs to stick to hosting.

BTW: Is TBS the only station that does the interviews with the managers?

Fox interviews the managers during games, so does ESPN.

That is horrible, Ron Washington's team was down 2 runs and they waned to interview him?

I'll second that nomination! I always found their coverage that way, too.

If TBS doesn't, who will? No other network wants the playoffs involving middle-of-the-pack teams.

Also, you are getting your wish. As I pointed out in my other thread, TBS has already lost interest, and on a day to day basis, they are simply not airing some of the games, with no explanation offered. Fox Sports doesn't want them all and ESPN won't even bid on them.

Watching the Orioles/Yankees game last night made me really miss Chuck Thompson.

I've always missed Chuck Thompson. He was the best there ever was.

You don't watch a lot of baseball, do you? Or do you just not pay attention?

Fortunately, I can hear Chuck in my head just by seeing a display of Tastykakes in a store.
