I knew they were not going to win in the playoffs and the parade they had in Philadelphia for the team winning the division was just a bit much. I know they have not made the plaoffs in 14 years despite being close but that celebration was jumping the gun.

A lot has changed in a year. The Phils last year, I think, were just happy to be in the playoffs. But with postseason experience, this year, they've matured and are aiming for one thing: a World Series trophy.

The Phils last year are the Brewers this year. Happy to be in the postseason. If they can keep a decent pitching staff together, the Brewers are going to be tough next year.

Imagine what the Phillies will be like next year. We'll find out how they'll retool this offseason (or if they will), pending the outcome of this season, of course, which has been superb. And how about the job Brad Lidge has done this season? He has made a huge difference in the 'pen this season and put on another great performance in Thursday night's action.

I'm just enjoying this season. Brett Myers the hitting star, who would have expected this after only four hits all year?

He is impressive. What happened with him and Manny today, I saw a clip before they went to break but missed the highlights of the game.

Myers threw a pitch behind Manny, acted like the ball just got away.

Then they had the fight with the Dodgers last night. They need to pounce on LA tonight and show them how a real team rolls.

WooHoo! Hoping the Phils take the game tonight and go up 3-1. I like our chances of winning the series but would be a little bit more nervous if LA wins tonight. I predicted the Phils in 6 and hoping that stands!
