Finally we’ve got a player in the top 5 of an offensive category as Betts banged a HR last night. The regular season has been fun, but we pretty much just need the playoffs to start already.

The Blue Crew have righted the ship after that down stretch they had (losing 4 of 6 or something like that). 4 wins in a row, pounding the Rockies tonight. We just need to notch a few more wins and get the Padres to drop a couple, and we're NL West champs for the millionth year in a row.

Mookie leads the NL in Home Runs. The Dodgers have five players with 10+ home runs (Betts, Seager, Bellinger, Pollack, and Muncy), and I'm pretty sure they're the only team that's pulled that off yet.

Imagine what would happen in a 162 game season. Would we see 5+ with 30? I think so.

Eight consecutive NL West titles, its a shame they don't have a World Series title during that span. They are very exciting to watch if you like the long ball. They set the NL record for most home runs in a month just this past August with 57. They also lead the majors in era. Perhaps this is their year, looking forward to postseason and how this plays out.

They kind of remind me of the Atlanta Braves back when Bobby Cox was the manager. They had about 15 years where the team was very good. Lots of great regular seasons. But only one title. This really needs to be the year when they make it to the top of the mountain. At least the Braves had one title.

With a major league leading 123 run differential, their chances are very good, as good as any team out there. I like how they added Mookie Betts, who in imo has the potential of having a mvp type of postseason in this lineup. The Dodgers should've had at least one title in 2017, that world series went 7 games, the Dodgers perhaps could of won it in 5 or 6 games, if it wasn't for the Astros sign stealing atrocities that resulted in an investigation by MLB, fines, suspensions and firings.

At any rate should be fun on how this postseason plays out.

Nice postseason opener win for the Dodgers. Seager with the insurance home run in the 7th, Urias the win and Jansen the save. With Kershaw going today a sweep is within reach.

Kershaw has pitched really well this season. Curious to see how a shorter season will effect his post season performance if any.

Tonight he struck out 13 Brewers and walked one.... (who he picked off first base shortly there after). LA eliminated Milwaukee 2 games to zip tonight.

He had his stuff working last night. Pitched very well. Nice to see. Even the commentators mentioned about making it post season and not winning. He needs to win the WS or will have that hanging over him. Hope he gets it this time.
