I think Puigs problem now isn't necessarily talent and not being the guy everybody had hoped. But simply being a liability when it comes to being a teammate. Aka bad team chemistry.[/quote]

Puig's issue is he doesn't play for the team, he plays for himself. To make himself look good. A perfect example is him trying to get a runner who was at first out at third on a single when there is no way of throwing the runner out. But to him, making it close is good enough, even if it means the batter can now run to second.

He needs to know when he can realistically get a runner out, not just to show off his arm.

Plus he was just a bad teammate, the Dodgers recent success and move to first place coincided with Puig being sent to the minors.

I am so done with Yasiel Puig!! I hope to never see him in a Dodger uniform again.

A lot of Dodger fans are upset with the trade. I know you can't just look at #'s because team chemistry can not be measured by #'s.

But so many people are upset but they fail to realize that the Dodgers are the ones who kept Ellis around for so long just to be Kershaws catcher. If it wasn't for kershaw Ellis would have been gone back in 2013 or 2014.

If Grandal gets hurt (which he actually seems some what injury prone) the Dodgers would have to rely on Austin Barnes (unproven) & Ellis for a major playoff run.

Now they have a guy like Ruiz who can be a leader, still product offensively and be a awesome catcher who throws out a lot of runners.

And Puig is back. Maybe he got an attitude adjustment in Oklahoma.

Rosters have expanded for September, so it no longer means having to send someone else down in order to have Puig on the ML team. They are paying him six million, so why try and get some use from him? In 90 plate appearances in the minors this year Puig batted .358 .422 .605.

looks like our guys will be in the playoffs for sure: Puig came through 2 nights ago and last night it was the entire team. Now we, hopefully have Kershaw back. All is good, and just think, they have had 2; men on the DL this year. Or last I heard 27. Maybe we will even play the World Series. If not, we now have football to give us strength and fill our needs.

Looks like a Dodgers/Nats playoff series. At least 1 team is going to be going to the NLCS
