Interesting...the reports makes two different notations about what a good hitter Koufax is, even so far as reporting that he also plays firstbase because of his bat.

Koufax's batting skills appparently didn't translate on the ML level, he was a god awful hitter, a lifetime .097/.145/.116 slashline.
